Wordscapes does not currently have real-time multiplayer modes where you can play collaborative or competitive word games directly with friends and other players. However, it does feature asynchronous competitive tournaments.
Tournaments take place over a period of a few days. You compete against other players on global leaderboards for the highest overall score. This encourages you to play as many levels as possible during the tournament.
How do the competitive tournaments work in Wordscapes?
During a Wordscapes tournament, all levels you play during the tournament period will count towards your total tournament score. This includes replayed levels, too.
Based on your total score, you will be ranked on global leaderboards against all other tournament participants. At the end of the tournament, players with the highest scores win special rewards like coins, clues, and more.
Using bonuses and power-ups during tournaments is a good idea to maximize your score. The top positions are usually very competitive.
